Celebrating Excellence in Broadcasting

The announcement occurred at the 2025 NAB State Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., where over 500 broadcasters from across the nation gathered to advocate for local radio and TV policy initiatives. A distinguished panel of judges carefully selected the winners, including representatives from the broadcast industry, community service organizations, and public relations firms.

Crystal Heritage Award Honoree

In addition to the Crystal Radio Awards, NAB also presented WJJY-FM (Brainerd, MN) with the prestigious Crystal Heritage Award. This rare honor is reserved for stations that have won five or more Crystal Radio Awards for their sustained commitment to community service. WJJY-FM joins an elite group; only 12 other stations have received this recognition.

The Impact of Local Radio

The NAB Crystal Radio Awards highlight radio stations' crucial role in strengthening their communities. Whether through charitable initiatives, emergency broadcasting, or local storytelling, these stations serve as pillars of connection and support.

As the broadcasting landscape evolves, one thing remains clear—radio continues to make a difference. Congratulations to all the winners for their outstanding contributions!
