Listening to the lyrics of Ends of the Earth brings you back to the root of country music. The deep sound and slow moving melody creates an ambiance of living on a ranch and taking each day as it comes. That’s exactly how Ty Myers grew up.
Ty was raised on his family’s cattle ranch, which has been in the family for more than six generations. This, clearly, had a part in producing a strong work ethic that’s translated to his writing and performing commitment. Before graduating high school, Ty has booked hundreds of gigs already. The lifestyle he’s been accustomed to all his life provided a backdrop to his old school country story telling he’s already mastered.
Not only has ranching been in the family, but so has music. Ty has said he remembered watching his grandmother playing piano in the church and seeing his father perform gigs on the weekends in local spots. Wanting to concentrate on his music, with the support of his family, Ty asked to be home schooled.
In 2023, he uploaded his song, “Tie That Binds,” onto Tik Tok. The account, Bonfire Specials, plugged the song which caused it to go viral. Soon, Ty had his choice of labels to sign with. Ty landed on Narvel Blackstock and Starstruck Entertainment as his management and signed a deal with Records Nashville/Columbia Records.
Since signing, Ty’s had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers Band, Cody Johnson, Willie Nelson and more!
As of today, Ty’s Spotify and YouTube streams have been in the millions. Ends of the Earth has over 25 million streams on Spotify, Drinkin Alone has over 38 million streams, while The Tie That Binds has over 15 million streams.
